但更重要的是將這一學習的活力堅持下去。學生到了四、五、六年級，英語課便比較沒有新鮮感了，并且隨著資料的加深，學生也漸感吃力。對高年級的學生，一方面我適當改變教法，設計出更新穎有效的游戲活動輔助學生理解、記憶，激發學習興趣，另一方面，也在嘗試新的活力激發點。比如，在英語對話、競賽、表演中讓學生盡情、自由發揮，體驗成功的喜悅與滿足;在課外舉行效仿歐美習俗的聚會等，讓學生有機會在濃厚的英語氛圍中學習英語，從而產生學英語、說英語的強烈愿望。
二、及時復習，反復操練。
俗語有云：“一日不唱口生，一日不練手生?！彼?，在英語教學中我要求學生必須對所學資料倒背如流，脫口而出。所以，每一資料傳授完畢后，我都要求學生及時背誦、記憶，確保每一學生在單詞、句子的聽、說、讀、寫過關。每一天早上，學生必須將所學資料讀至少一遍以上，隨時堅持學習英語的最佳狀態。在每一堂英語課前，我都會用英語與學生自由交談。經過反復的操練，學生對知識自然能掌握得牢，用得活了。
