一、以身作則。家長首先要養成良好的習慣。為孩子起到表率作用。因為，父母的一言一行都是孩子的啟蒙。提供孩子的學習氛圍，與孩子一起看書或學習。久而久之，漸漸地他們自然而然地感覺父母很注重學習，知道自己應該如何去學習，懂得了不是為誰而學的道理。

二、尊重孩子。何為尊重呢?我們不妨在適當的時間坐下來和孩子相互交流，讓孩子暢所欲言，給我們提供一些信息，讓我們知道孩子的喜怒哀樂。有時意見分歧時，做為家長，是否會去認真考慮孩子的意見比我們的更完善、更妥貼。如果這樣，我們就應該放棄自己的意見，大膽采納孩子的意見。這是給孩子一次是非認知判斷能力的鍛煉，既尊重了孩子，又縮短了兩代人的鴻溝。

三、尋找學習興趣。孩子不愛學習，主要原因是對學習缺乏興趣。興趣是最好的老師，要讓孩子對學習感興趣，和老師及家長的引導是分開不的，平時應多和孩子以一種平等的心態進行溝通，在溝通交流過程中尋找孩子在學習生活的愛好，尋找共同話題，在平時的生活過程中多鼓勵賞識自己的孩子，讓他認為自己行，樹立對學習的信心，只有這樣長期的不斷努力支持他，才能讓孩子找到成功的感覺，有了興趣，相信他一定會將學習搞上去。

四，要培養孩子自主學習能力，孩子不學習，不愿、不想學習是缺乏動力，是沒有樹立正確的學習目標，自然也就不會有明確的學習動機，在學習過程中就會有一種盲目性，不知道為什么而學習以及該怎樣去學。能夠在學習中有一個清晰的學習目標，并為實現這個目標而學習的時候，學習就不再是討厭的、與自己人生無關的負擔了。相反學習會變成一件有趣的、能夠決定自己命運的最緊要的事。孩子不愿學習，不想學習問題便迎刃而解，這樣的學習才是主動的、自覺的、有效的，而不是被迫的、壓力的和效率低下的。

五，糾正想法。我們應該糾正孩子的一種想法，孩子以為學習是為了父母，把學習看成一種負擔，是完成父母交給的任務，因而缺乏學習的興趣，只是機械地應付，一旦遇到困難就產生逃避的想法。因此我們在給孩子確立學習目標之前，首先要使學生自己明白學習的重要性，要讓他們知道為什么要學習，只有通過今天的努力學習，才能使擁有自己更美好的未來。學習是為了自己，為了自己美好的未來。父母的擔心是為自己好，是替自己的未來擔心。

最后，要經常與老師溝通。在這點上，父母應及時與老師取得聯系，知道孩子的學習狀況。一個孩子在學習上，不可能每個環節一帆風順，隨時有潮起潮落，只是不知漏在哪一環，雙方取得聯系后，及時糾正和彌補不足之處，幫助孩子渡過難關，取得扎實基礎。
