【設計意圖】

聽一段錄音，試著理解其含義，然后看一段視頻，自己來翻譯這篇課文講的是什么。這樣可以代替傳統的由老師翻譯的辦法，利于培養學生把單詞和句子放入特定語境中理解語篇的能力。
Step 4 Show Time: Who is the best guide?
介紹自己喜歡的或者感興趣的城市或者風景名勝并用簡單的形容詞和介詞短語來描述這個城市的特征，方位，地理位置，代表建筑等。
分組練習，鞏固所學內容，同時鼓勵孩子們大膽創新，說出自己的新詞匯。以比賽和表演的形式上臺展示并評選出”Who is the best guide?”

主要是以海報的形式來展示學習成果，培養孩子們的語言表達能力和動手操作能力。
教學反思：
1. 資源與方法
本節課屬于五年級上冊The natural world“自然世界”模塊中Parks and places in China“中國的風景名勝與公園”這一單元內容。鑒于前兩個單元分別學了Wild animals“野生動物”和Butterflies“蝴蝶”等孩子們感興趣的動物。為了教材之間的關聯，本課編者在設計本課的時候也選取了孩子們最感興趣的“海洋公園”這一話題。提到海洋公園的時候，孩子們腦海里馬上就會想起那些海豚，鯊魚，海豹等可愛的小動物們。所以我在處理這些生單詞并且也是重點單詞的時候采取了“直觀教學法”。就是大量的運用圖片，美輪美奐的生動的圖片，讓孩子們仿佛此刻就置身于海洋公園，并且活生生的看到了這些小動物們。
再學習課文之前，先讓孩子們自己聽錄音，猜測含義，再觀看視頻，進一步加深對課文的理解采用了“聽說教學法”和“情境教學法”。
最后展示環節讓孩子們分組討論，然后以上臺展示比賽的方法又采用了小組合作的方式并將本科教學單詞舉行等運用于實踐，推向教學高潮。其中將英語的語用功能發揮到極致。實現了運用語言去做事的能力。
開始的熱身運動采取了全身動作反應法。最后的作業設計體現了學生自主，探究，實踐的能力意識。
整篇教學設計圍繞從學生學習英語的興趣出發。體現了培養學生的英語學習興趣的重要性。并且兼顧了三維目標的落實，尤其是對學生愛家鄉愛祖國情感的培養體現了英語教學中容易忽視的道德教育。
2. 反思與分析
(1)過分注重多媒體的使用，忽視了傳統的板書在英語教學中的重要作用。
多媒體課件雖然很華麗有趣，孩子們也喜歡，但是鑒于兒童短期記憶的特點，孩子們學過以后很快就忘了。這時如果僅僅依靠多媒體就很難讓孩子們清晰明白本課的重點難點。所以如果能夠把本課所學的重點單詞和句型都清晰的列在黑板上，可以讓孩子們看起來一目了然。教師最后根據黑板的提示進行小結，更有利于孩子們的復習鞏固，促進所學知識。
(2)缺乏紙質圖片的應用，會在做游戲的時候力不從心。
本課所學動物單詞相對抽象，讓孩子們模仿或者表演，都比較難，如果能把這些動物圖片做成紙質的，就能用多種的游戲方法讓孩子們鞏固練習所學單詞。比如我們可以用“What’s missing?” “Who has magic eyes”等閃卡游戲練習單詞。

1.對單詞和短語的熟記和完全掌握。
2.每個單元中出現的重點句型會說會用。
3.在學習過程中了解中西方文化的差異，大膽運用英語相互交流，進行簡單對話。
